Check cluster resource status (crsctl stat res -t)

OracleRAC & Grid

Command

# From the Grid home, as the grid user:
crsctl stat res -t
# OHASD (init) layer: ora.cssd, ora.crsd, ora.asm, ora.ctssd...
crsctl stat res -t -init
# Only problem resources (TARGET is ONLINE but STATE is not):
crsctl stat res -t -w "((TARGET = ONLINE) and (STATE != ONLINE))"
# Profile and runtime details of a single resource:
crsctl stat res ora.<db_unique_name>.db -p
crsctl stat res ora.<db_unique_name>.db -v

What it does

Lists every resource managed by Clusterware (database, instance, listener, SCAN, VIP, ASM, disk group, network) per node with TARGET/STATE in tabular form.

When to use it

After node startup, after patching and in every outage investigation; to find OFFLINE, INTERMEDIATE or UNKNOWN resources.

Caution

Read-only. Do not manage ora.* resources directly with crsctl start/stop/modify; use srvctl for database resources (the supported method).
