LOADING: LOADING Redis is loading the dataset in memory

Redis

What does it mean?

Redis is starting and loading the dataset (RDB/AOF) from disk into memory. Most commands are temporarily rejected until loading completes.

Why does it happen?

The server has just started, a large RDB/AOF file is being loaded, a replica is performing a full sync from the master, or a recovery process after a restart.

How to fix it

Wait for loading to finish; the duration depends on data size. Monitor status: INFO persistence (wait while loading:1; ready when 0). In the application, catch this transient error and retry at short intervals. To shorten load time, review the dataset/persistence strategy (RDB vs AOF). Provide sufficient RAM and fast disks.
