1305: PROCEDURE does not exist

What does it mean?

The called stored procedure or function was not found in the specified database. No routine with this name is defined.

Why does it happen?

A misspelled procedure name; the procedure in the wrong database or never created; the wrong schema selected with USE; no EXECUTE privilege to call the procedure; case sensitivity.

How to fix it

Verify that the procedure exists and in which schema: SHOW PROCEDURE STATUS WHERE Db = 'mydb'; Select the right database: USE mydb; or call it fully qualified: CALL mydb.my_procedure(...); Grant the required privileges: GRANT EXECUTE ON PROCEDURE mydb.my_procedure TO app_user;
