connect_transport_exception: connect_transport_exception
ElasticsearchWhat does it mean?
Could not connect to a node over the transport (9300) layer. Inter-node or client-cluster communication could not be established, so the operation could not be performed.
Why does it happen?
Target node down/unreachable, network/firewall issues, wrong transport address/port, TLS configuration mismatch, a DNS problem, or a cluster name/version mismatch.
How to fix it
Verify that the target node is running and that the transport port (default 9300) is reachable over the network. Check firewall/network rules and the discovery configuration. Make sure TLS/certificate settings are consistent across all nodes. Review node logs and verify cluster.name/version compatibility.
